Processing Facilities
Processing capacity of 7 lakh liters per day
We have four milk & milk products processing plants in different parts of Odisha in addition to ice-cream & bakery plants having total Milk processing capacity of 7 lakh liters per day. Along with pasteurized milk, we manufacture cultured products, Ice-Cream, Frozen Dairy Products, Paneer, Ghee and Sterilized Flavored Milk & Bakery products at these units. There are 15 Milk Chilling Plants spread over different districts of Odisha. These Milk chilling plants have capacity ranging from 30,000 to 50,000 liters per day. Entire milk procurement system in digitized with our online milk collection system. All the chilling plants are electronically connected to head office for monitoring of real-time data. As soon as the milk is poured in chilling plants weight bowls, farmers milk cost, quality, quantity etc gets updated in latest ERP software as well as farmers application. Strict quality control checks of milk collected from individual farmers is done at the source point to ensure best quality finished products. The milk collected is chilled instantly and transferred to our processing plants through insulated road milk tankers for further processing.

Pragati is the leading brand of dairy products available in all cities of Odisha. Every morning Pragati's delivery vans provide its distributors and retailers with fresh milk and milk products. We maintain our own complete cold chain starting from milk collection in rural villages to retailers in urban areas. Our logistics include more than 100 heavy refrigerated vans to deliver milk over 200 kms of distance. Distribution of milk and milk products in the local market is done by insulated delivery vans. We have over 50 specially designed refrigerated ice-cream delivery vans on duty to cater ice-cream at our distributor points. Most of our Ice Cream distributors have Freeze-on-Wheels to deliver ice-cream to the retailer in their respective areas.
